Product Marketing Manager, Transport Automation - Westminster, CO

The Product Marketing Manager (Solutions Manager) North America is responsible for the go-to-market strategy, leadership and management of Swisslog Healthcare’s largest most successful business line. The North American Transport Automation Solutions Group encompasses our pneumatic tube system offering, Translogic, and other material management solutions including mobile robotics and guided vehicles used for material transport in hospitals. She/he defines the product portfolio in this market and works across the organization to enable the Company’s successful go-to-market.

The go-to-market includes the strategic planning and product marketing of the portfolio and sales enablement in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team.

For the development of new solutions and products Solutions Management works in collaboration with the Technology & Portfolio Development organization. Specifically, Solutions Management works directly with our Product Management who is responsible for the definition of product requirements/specifications and the long-term execution of the product roadmaps for this Solutions Group.

This position is measured on the financial targets of the assigned business line in terms of top line growth, gross profitability, and market adoption metrics such as units deployed.

Your collaboration

  • Understanding the market and customers (full customer insight)
  • Develop, define and execute go-to-market strategy of assigned business line
  • Define product portfolio of assigned business line in that respective market
  • Enable development of product portfolio in collaboration with Technology & Portfolio Development organization and directly via the Product Management team
  • Manage new product programs as part of the Swisslog Healthcare Innovation Process
  • Enable sales in collaboration with Marketing organization (sales readiness)
  • Actively engage in product-life-cycle management process via Product Councils
  • If assigned as Program Manager, take full responsibility for the successful execution of programs (management of innovation process) and the management of the program organization
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of the company’s vision and strategy
  • Support the overall process of management and corporate decision-making to ensure the organization maximizes its short, medium, and long-term profitability and shareholder returns
  • Collaborate with executives on the implementation of the company’s strategic and operational plans
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

Your competence

  • 10+ years in product marketing
  • 10+ years of medication supply chain and/or hospital supply chain market and product experience.
  • Organizational knowledge of Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) / hospital networks and ancillary care sites (clinics, physician offices, long-term care, surgery centers, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of hospital information technology (e.g., Pharmacy systems, Materials Management ERP, Warehouse Management Systems)
  • 5+ years of experience on the vendor side, selling to IDNs or hospital networks with specific call points to include c-level, supply, pharmacy, and information technologists
  • Ability to demonstrate clinical and economic impact of products and solutions to appropriate buying influences
  • High energy, self-starting individual who has proven market success and will thrive in a team environment
  • Entrepreneurial mentality / business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, strong leadership skills, able to work collaboratively
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management, Business, Finance, or a related healthcare management field



Desirable, but not Essential:
  • MBA or other graduate degree
  • Management of small teams and support personnel
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and pharmacy automation
  • Knowledge of nursing workflows
  • Experience working as a clinician (pharmacy, nursing)


  • Salary: $100,000 base, plus bonus; medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, tuition reimbursement; 401k matching
