Swisslog Healthcare Invests in Pharmony to Address Market Opportunities in Community Pharmacy Segment in Europe
The partnership will lead to an advanced suite of integrated automation and cloud-based software solutions.

Swisslog Healthcare has partnered with Pharmony to deliver an integrated software and automation experience to community pharmacies in Europe. Pharmony is a Belgium-based technology company providing cloud-based medication management services.
The integration of Pharmony SaaS offerings with Swisslog Healthcare solutions will provide pharmacy owners with robust tools to manage operations more efficiently.
Swisslog Healthcare has acquired a minority stake in Pharmony. Patrick Koch, member of the Swisslog Healthcare executive team, will join the Pharmony board of directors to support the successful execution of its growth strategy.

The integration of the Swisslog Healthcare automation portfolio into the Pharmony platform will offer community pharmacists a wide range of services contributing to the increased efficiency of pharmacy operations.

The parties agreed further details of the transaction will not be disclosed.
Created in early 2016, PHARMONY aims at developing solutions to make life easier for pharmacists. Its pharmacy management software, PHARMONY ONE, based on a unique architecture developed in the cloud, was first launched after a successful pilot phase conducted in several pharmacies. There are now more than 50 pharmacies in Wallonia and Flanders equipped with the software and the deployment in Belgium is actively ongoing.
The company, whose offices are located in Namur and Luxembourg, currently employs 12 people, mainly developers and customer support staff.
