Connie Vigil
Connie Vigil is a Product Manager at Swisslog Healthcare, where she leads the Allegro, Carousel, and BoxPicker portfolios, managing these systems globally. Based in the U.S., she brings over a decade of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in both retail and acute care settings, providing her with a deep, firsthand understanding of healthcare operations that informs every product decision she makes.
We asked Connie:
What particularly fascinates you about your job?
I hold a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration and management, and I am currently pursuing a master's in information systems with a concentration in business intelligence. These studies have broadened my perspective on the transformative role of artificial intelligence in healthcare and continue to fuel my passion for innovation. I am especially drawn to shaping the vision of these products and watching how they evolve and the direction they take.
What are the key steps in your professional journey?
Since joining Swisslog Healthcare three and a half years ago, I’ve embraced the challenge of developing automation solutions that align with our mission, and with my personal commitment to pharmacy practice, where patient safety is always the top priority. Our work is driven by a shared goal: to enhance operational efficiency while keeping patients at the heart of everything we do. This mission inspires me to grow continuously, think creatively, and guide products to market with purpose and precision.
Do you reveal something personal about yourself?
Outside of work, I cherish time with my kids, family, and friends. I’m also passionate about art and love drawing, painting, and crafting, especially with my three daughters, who keep me inspired and bring so much joy to my life.
