Responsibilities
Make an impact
Primary goals for this role include:
- Lead the design and development of mechanical components and subsystems, translating requirements into effective automated solutions
- Own the delivery of assigned project scope, including design, implementation, testing, integration, and documentation
- Analyze and challenge requirements to ensure robust, efficient, and compliant technical solutions
- Produce technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test criteria
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project delivery targets
- Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems
- Contribute to system design decisions and perform design risk assessments
- Define technical specifications for procurement of project-related equipment
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed
To be successful in the role we are looking for:
- Around 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of mechanical components and subsystems;
- Deep understanding of automation design and architecture;
- Good knowledge of English language
- Good knowledge of 3D design tools (CAD)
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems;
- Knowledge of and experience with additive manufacturing (3D printers);
- Experience in using PLM and ERP;
- Understanding of automation design and architecture.
