Responsibilities
- Validate and process bid requests through multiple channels, converting them to opportunities in Salesforce and assigning to appropriate sales representatives.
- Manage end-to-end bid documentation process, including downloading RFPs, creating opportunities, and maintaining internal filing systems.
- Ensure timely bid submissions by maintaining sales team calendars and coordinating insurance and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to review and prepare compelling proposals.
- Partner with Finance, Legal and cross-functional teams to gather critical information for bids.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and facilitating connections with sales representatives.
- Generate comprehensive sales reports including opportunity tracking, customer snapshots, and pipeline analytics.
- Maintain data integrity within CRM platform while collaborating with sales enablement team to improve reporting capabilities.
- Provide interdepartmental support and build strong relationships with team members.
- Perform other duties as needed/assigned.
Application Requirements
- High School Diploma or Associates Degree.
- 0-3 years’ experience in sales support.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
- Ability to utilize Internet search and reporting functions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be PC literate, working knowledge of Microsoft tools: Office, Word, Excel.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal for the phone are required.
- Ability to listen carefully to customers and team members to understand their needs and concerns in order to resolve challenges as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Self-motivated and goal oriented, with a desire to learn and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and in collaboration with others.
- Outbound client contact skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
