Responsibilities

Make an impact

Primary goals for this role include:  
  • Translate requirements into effective automation software solutions
  • Contribute to the definition of system architecture and software design
  • Prepare functional specifications and acceptance test criteria for project-related systems and equipment
  • Participate in design risk assessments and ensure proper documentation (user and maintenance manuals)
  • Stay up to date with technologies in automation and robotics

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed To be successful in the role we are looking for:   
  • Strong experience in automation engineering
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in the automation industry
  • Solid knowledge of PLC programming, preferably with Structured Text
  • Strong understanding of automation systems architecture, including real-time systems
  • Experience with commissioning and testing of automated control systems
  • Knowledge of motion control systems (servo motors, stepper motors)
  • Experience in designing complex systems involving multiple machines
  • Proficiency in Beckhoff / TwinCAT or CODESYS environments
  • Good knowledge of electromechanical components and systems
  • Ability to create technical documentation, including functional specifications and test procedures
  • Good knowledge of English language
