Swisslog Healthcare Names Cathy McKinney as New Director of Operations

Swisslog Healthcare, a leading provider of integrated medication supply chain solutions, announces Cathy McKinney as its new Director of Operations. McKinney brings over 20 years of experience in medical device and consumables manufacturing to oversee the company’s manufacturing processes and drive operational excellence across its facilities.

Based in Swisslog Healthcare’s North American headquarters in Colorado, McKinney will oversee materials management, manufacturing, and warehouse and logistics operations. Her team will support both the Transport Automation and Pharmacy Automation businesses with global logistics, manufacturing, warehousing, and spare parts management.

In her new role, McKinney will focus on improving quality, reducing lead times, decreasing inventory, and enhancing trade working capital. She will also serve as the lead person on an upcoming SAP major upgrade and migration to a new SAP platform, slated for 2026.

McKinney joins Swisslog Healthcare from Westone Laboratories, where she served as Director of Operations for six years. Her experience also includes leadership roles at Baxter Healthcare, where she focused on manufacturing optimization and quality assurance. McKinney holds certifications in Lean Systems Operational Excellence and Six Sigma.
