In this position you will provide optimal services to our customers by answering customer requests regarding the operational aspects of the Swisslog installations. Also you will provide technical assistance in the field of mechanical and electrical engineering and control, in a timely and adequate manner.

Your collaboration

Your responsibilities:
  • Service
    • You answer questions from customers and solve malfunctions that you will be notified of via e-mail and phone
    • You thoroughly process, log, and solve questions and complaints in our ticketing and/or ERP system
    • You properly record incoming technical problems and service requests and process them proactively
    • You regularly are on-site (10 -20% of your worktime) to maintain and/or increase your technical and practical knowledge
    • You support in continuous improvement of the current administrative and operational processes
  • Support field service
    • You check which warranty- and contract terms apply for each customer request 
    • You plan and support the service engineers for commissioning and service appointments
    • You review and discuss service reports with the service engineers after performed work and process service reports, if needed you plan the next steps
    • You keep the maintenance books of customers up to date and adjust via the so called “Carthoteek”
  • Spare parts
    • Give technical support to the Inside Sales department by offering insight in technical problems and the parts needed to solve them

Your competence

Your competence
  • Extensive (4+ yrs) customer service experience
  • Degree in MBO+/HBO in Mechatronics/Instrumentation/Electromechanical/Electronics
  • Experience in technical support
  • Proficient in Dutch and English
  • On the job ‘hands on fault finding’ experience
  • Strong communication skills, both in speech as in writing
  • Strong social skills, customer oriented
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Computer literate
Desirable but not essential
  • Experience within Healthcare, Hospital and /or Building Industry
