
Product Manager – Software, Retail Open Pharmacy

The Product Manager primary focus is to deliver measurable business results through the development of software solutions that meet both user and market needs and that also drive bottom line results. He/she is responsible for developing the platform concept, assessing customer needs, performing market research and competitive analysis to define the customers & users requirements and the supporting business plan; he/she is further responsible to define product development requirements, establishing the product roadmaps, execute the release process and to support the market introduction of new products in interaction with different internal and external partners. Product Management also monitors competitors and technological developments related to their products.

Your collaboration
- Development of product and development roadmap, by defining requirements and prioritization and developing the Open Pharmacy concept
- Decides/proposes upgrade and end of life plans for late stage products.
- Reviews development projects
- Technical specification for new developments, based on requirements from Product Marketing, SME and user input
- Participates in decisions regarding new product selection, technical product specifications, product stage gates and release readiness
- Education of regional sales force and product specialists, incl. conducting trainings
- Close collaboration with worldwide Engineering Manager, Solutions Managers, TCs Technical teams and Sales and Marketing
- Cost calculation and pricing the products and consumables, including life cycle costs
- Producing the required product documentation – Sales, Technical, Project, Costs-Pricing
- Competition and market analysis
- Management of OEM-Partners especially for product development – technical discussion for seamless workflow integration
- Collect the certifications requirements from market organizations and manage their introduction into products
Your competence
- Bachelor or Master degree (Engineering)
- Industry experience (>5 yrs)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); Italian strongly desired
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Good facilitation skills
Desirable, but not Essential:
- Management of software products, ideally cloud based services in healthcare; XaaS
- Knowledge of retail pharmacy business, understanding of how the developments of e-health and digital services are shaping the needs of retail pharmacies in Europe
- Sales and Marketing experience
- Knowledge of Pharmacy Automation Products
- Knowledge of French or German is a plus
