The Pharmacy Systems Trainer and Consultant is responsible for the delivery of post-implementation systems training, sales demonstrations, and workflow consulting to Swisslog Healthcare customers. This position will also develop, deliver, evaluate, and improve training content and materials to provide classroom, hands-on, and remote learning experiences to customers and staff. The individual in this position must possess exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

Location: This position is located in Denver, Colorado. Candidates must be local, or be willing to relocate to the Denver area.

Your collaboration

  • Work with leadership to determine training objectives.
  • Conduct live (in-person) and remote (virtual) system demonstrations, instructor-led training, and other presentations for customers and staff.
  • Arrange for and conduct on-site training and workflow consulting as needed.
  • Contribute to the design of training programs, including learning objectives, outlines, and customer-facing materials, and design hands-on exercises to assure proficiency.
  • Participate in post-implementation meetings and conference calls as required.
  • Partner with customers to identify, evaluate and develop effective workflow processes to improve pharmacy operations.
  • Represent the Swisslog Healthcare team as a clinical and pharmacy automation Subject Matter Expert.
  • Conduct training follow-up including content evaluations, action item follow-up, and communication with Customer Success Managers on results/effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and product centers to obtain and develop training material.
  • Coordinate logistical details for training and demo activities, including participant and resource scheduling.
  • Ensure training is up-to-date in addition to evaluating alternative solutions and making recommendations when applicable.
  • Participate in the production of video content used for marketing, training and consulting activities. This includes being the on-camera presenter.
  • Adhere to and strictly enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Your competence

  • Associate’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Pharmacy Technician, State Licensed or licensed by PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years working in hospital inpatient pharmacy.
  • Computer proficient, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a larger collaborative team.
  • Passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Desirable, but not Essential:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree
  2. Experience in training delivery
  3. Working knowledge of pharmacy automation systems and software
  4. Experience with the implementation of medication management systems and automation preferred.
Target salary range for this position is $65,000-80,000. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skillset. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical / dental / vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, disability, 401k matching (up to 8%).
