Windows Application Deployment Administrator / Packaging Engineer

The Windows Application Deployment Administrator manages all aspects of the baramundi desktop management suite. This includes building and troubleshooting Windows images, creating and updating software deployment packages, deployment of OS and application patches, monitoring desktops for compliance. In addition, the Desktop Management Administrator is also responsible for requirement analysis, project planning and coordination, documentation and IT Support training.

Your collaboration

  • Global position that must interact with the support desk personal in all regions of the world.
  • Packaging, testing and troubleshooting of Windows 10 images.
  • Packaging, testing, troubleshooting and deployment of applications and scripts.
  • Deployment and monitoring of OS and application patches.
  • Document solutions and procedures.
  • Write knowledgebase articles.
  • Train company personnel in the use of ITSM tool.
  • Serve as a technical resource for the members of the IT Support teams.
  • Work with IT Support to develop the best system functionality.
  • Evaluate the security of endpoints and implement the necessary security measures.

Your competence

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in the installation, maintenance and configuration of Windows 10 environments.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Exceptional knowledge of Windows 10; support, operation, security, packaging and upgrades.
  • Experience with imaging of Windows 10 using WDS, SCCM or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of DISM, WISM and other Windows 10 packaging tools.
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with SCCM or Altera helpful.
  • Experience with application packaging and deployment.
  • Experience with the deployment and monitoring of Windows updates.
  • Experience we the deployment of Bitlocker.
  • Exceptional knowledge of a wide range of desktop applications.
  • Strong documentations skills.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends to ensure customer satisfaction.
